Tennant Special Risk

Brad boasts an impressive 35 years experience in the insurance field. His previous positions include: underwriting, retail brokerage, carrier management and primary casualty programs. Brad started Tennant Special Risk in April of 1999 with a "couple bucks and a dream" to provide a specialty underwriting environment for commercial and residential subcontractors.

Lou joined TSR in 2002 with an extensive and diverse background. During his 40 years in the industry Lou has worked with retail, underwriting, admitted, and excess & surplus business. In addition, Lou has home office experience with Liberty Mutual and chaired the corporate committee for casualty training with Johnson & Higgins. Currently Lou enjoys underwriting the WRAP programs for TSR.

Don joined TSR in 2006 with 37 years of expereince. Rounding off the list of most experienced employees at TSR Don has held positions such as Casualty Underwriting & Supervisor, Large Account & Referral Underwriter and Customer Program Manager.

Larry joined TSR in 2007 with an impressive 40 years of experience in insurance. Larry has held an array of positions including surety bond underwriter, risk management, company underwriting, retail and wholesale and program underwriting. Larry has also served as CPCU President of the Atlanta chapter and is an award-winning CPCU course leader. Larry currently handles OCP programs for TSR.

Carrie joined TSR in 2007 with over 20 years of experience in insurance. Carrie has an extensive array of experience in insurance, as she started as an assistant and worked her way up to underwriter. Carrie's previous positions include managing general agent, umbrella underwriter, multi-line underwriting and primary General Liability underwriter.

Jessie joined TSR in 2008 with interest and determination to learn more about underwriting. With her four years of experience in bank underwriting as a Commerical Bank Officer, Jessie learned a solid foundation that gave her the ability to segway into TSR. Jessie is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a double major in Risk and Insurance Management & Finance and Banking.

Sarah joined TSR in 2008 with 13 years of experience. Sarah has worked her way up through insurance starting as Marketing Assistant and moving to Surety Bond Underwriter at Georgia Surety Company and Inland Marine/Commercial Truck Insurance Underwriter at Ace Insurance Services. Currently for TSR, Sarah enjoys working on umbrella program implementation as well as the umbrella program manager.

Carol joined TSR in 2005 with 30 years of experience in insurance. Carol brings a diverse background to TSR with experience in general liability, auto, property, workers compenstation and reinsurance. Carol currently handles a broad range of duties for TSR.

Diann started with Tennant Special Risk in 2002. Diann began her insurance career with Tennant and has flourished in the fields of loss information and underwriting assistance. Previous to her insurance carreer Diann worked for 34 years in the nursing field.

Nia joined TSR in 2006 with eight years of prior experience in underwriting support. Nia started working in reinsurance in 1998 specializing in casualty, inland marine, property and treaty departments. Nia also assisted with administration and technical support which brought him to his current position at TSR. Previous to his insurance carreer, Nia worked in retail management and sales.

Cresson joined TSR in 2010.

Susan joined TSR in 2003 with over 10 years experience in accounting.
